Application are invited from Pakistani citizens on prescribed from available from the office of the National Center of Excellence in Geology (NCEG), University of Peshawar, or on the NCEG Website (http://nceg.upesh.edu.pk) for the following faculty positions on Regular Basis

1- Professor (BPS-21/TTS)

Discipline: Geology/Geophysics

Qualifications: Ph. Din the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria for both BPS and TTS positions will be as Higher Education Commission (www.hec.gov.pk)

2- Associate Professor (BPS-20/TTS)

Discipline: Geology/Geophysics

Qualifications: Ph. Din the relevant field from an HEC recognized university/institution.

Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria for both BPS and TTS positions will be as Higher Education Commission (www.hec.gov.pk)

3- Assistant Professor (BPS-19

Discipline: Geology

Qualifications: M.S/M.Phil./Ph.Din the field of Geology from an HEC recognized University/institutions, with specialization in Mineralogy/Petrology, Preference will be given to those who have relevant research publications and Lab. Experience.

Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria as per Higher Ed ucation Commission

4- Research Associate BPS- 18

Disciplines: Geology

Qualification: M.Sc or B.S (4 years) (1st Class) in Geology with Accredited Diploma in

Gemology/Diamond, Preferably from foreign Gemological institutes. Preference will be given to those who have relevant experience in Public Sector organizations.

The appIication for the post of Professor and Associate Professor should also submit the following:

1. Four Copies of the list of research publications (full length papers, no abstracts) showing names of publications and journals (Only HEC recognized)
2. Four sets of reprints of the publications (First page only)
3. Four Copies of complete bio-data and
4. A Bank draft of Rs. 1000 (non-refundable) as Evaluation Fee in Favor of the Director, NCE in Geology, University of Peshawar.
