Aadmission Notice For 2014 Postgraduate And Undergraduate Programs. The Distance Education program was initially launched in six Universities of Pakistan Including BZU by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The Directorate of Distance Education, B.Z. University, Multanwas established in2009videletterNo.1-Adv(C!A8LI)/HEC/DDE/2009/1513dated 02-07-2009to promote Distance Education in the region. The main objective of Distance Education program is to provide quality education through regular conduct of classes on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and through LMS (Learning Management System) to those students who cannot afford tojoin regular classes during working days. The Directorate of Distance Education, Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan is the only institute in Pakistan which is offering online admissions and learning/teaching along with campus classes. The evaluation team of World Bank and HFC has ranked the Distance Education program of Bahauddin Zahariya University, Multan as No. 1 in Pakistani Universities which are offering distance education and also declared it as a Model Programfor the other universities.
